If you live in Accra, you know that folks here too easily get stuck in the city life. Why is this the case with such a beautiful country to witness and explore?
Well, ACCRA [dot] ALT team member, STELOO, and a bunch of photographer friends recently decided to get off the wall and go on a look-see through the Central, Western and Northern regions of Ghana.
Here he shares some cool snaps from the road trip. These photos were taken by Francis Kokoroko (AccraPhoto), Kwadwo Amfo (Amfo Connolly) and Steve Morris M. in Laribanga, Northern region.
In his own words, Steloo remarks:
“Going on this road trip was about taking a vacation from Accra, having fun with friends and discovering interesting things in other regions. We moved from Cape Coast to Takoradi to Axim and ended up in the Northern Region (West Gonja). As a Fashion DJ and model with my own sense of artistic expression, I wanted to tell a story by taking photos for my people. Just look at the beautiful locations and benefits available when touring our Motherland.”
“This trip gives me new perspective on originality which is the core of my brand. I love nature. The sights and sounds of the villages, the small towns and growing cities all form a big part of what I put into my trade. To me, originality is making something great out of nothing.”
