Dark Suburb: The Awakening

The Awakening Concert

Following a steady growth of material in their alternative, pidgin, afro-rock repertoire, Dark Suburb step out on 7th February with The Awakening Concert, a christening of the music the band has been steadily churning out for new fans.

Dark Suburb is barely a year old but they’ve already garnered a good following and generated a large amount of curiosity among music lovers in and out of Ghana, all wanting to know more about this mysteriously cloaked band.

With a 5 track EP and three music videos  racking in thousands of views, Ghana’s alternative rock band Dark Suburb is finally ready to step out with several concert appearances this year starting with The Awakening Concert.

The Awakening Concert is scheduled for Saturday at Alliance Francaise. Tickets are going for GH20. The concert will feature acts such as Noella Wiyaala, and afro soul singer Eli among several others performing live before the band takes over with 2 hours of what promises to be quite an eclectic show.

Doors open at 6pm so guests will have the opportunity to purchase Dark Suburb’s EP and merchandise. The veiled cloud enveloping the band will soon come down. We know this concert will be on blast.
