Well folks, we are a month away from the fifth edition of the CHALE WOTE Street Art Festival and we couldn’t be more excited. We have a fresh group of Ghanaian and international artists taking part this year including the South African Arts SuperCrew, the JHB Massive.
Help 15 insanely talented artists trek from Jozi to Accra to take part in the festival. These folks are at the top of their respective crafts and include Lindiwe Matshikiza (Four Corners, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), Siyabonga Mthembu (lead singer, The Brother Moves On), Tshepang Ramoba and Mpumelelelo Mcata (BLK JKS), João Orecchia (experimental sound artist of Invisible Cities Radio and Motèl Mari) and ten other artistic phenoms.
Rewards to supporters include a private arm wrestling match, surprise serenade, professional photo shoot, catered lunch with artwork or performance, and personalized postcards from Ghana, among other tempting treasures, all courtesy of the JHB Massive.
25 more days to go to get the entire crew to Accra!!! Support the ThundaFund here.
