The track has flow. It’s pretty evident from jump street in the symphony of bass, 808s, synths, and high-hats. Riddims are, in fact, ghostly just as the name suggests.
“Ghost” is the new release from X.O. Senavoe who’s most recent work with Sarkodie and Efya last year had fans on the bend for new joints. Produced by Gafacci, the captivating hook, sung in Twi translates to “one who’s ghost refuses to agree that you’re dead”. Known for flipping between Fante, Twi and English, X.O.’s “Ghost” challenges the idea that African hip hop artists have to communicate in any particular way or language.
Taking a break from music this year to focus on his law practice, X.O. Senavoe drops this treat just in the nick of time. Download “Ghost” here.
