On Saturday 30th April 2016, ACCRA [dot] ALT opens DZALA BUTIQ, a street art boutique in our art space @ Brazil House in James Town. DZALA BUTIQ is a curated art and music event that brings emerging art from Ghana together with great food, drinks, conversations and partying. April’s DZALA BUTIQ features the digital photography of Josephine Kuuire and paintings by Kwesi Botchway and Kwame Junior Quaicoe.

The works of these artists are also on sale to the general public. Calling all collectors and art enthusiasts!!! Support these Ghanaian artists and more by purchasing unique works. There will also be a selection of design treats by some of our favorite Ghanaian trendsetters.

DZALA BUTIQ also features our monthly TALK PARTY SERIES – this month we witness a live music session with Ghanaian-Swedish singer and songwriter, MensaHighlife and alternative jazz musician, Nii Noi. MensaHighlife will also premiere his new video, “It’s Cold Oo”.

DJ Sets on deck. Delicious food and drinks on tab. The event is co-produced by ACCRA [dot] ALT interns, Kwame Boafo, Nii Colley Clottey, Liza Tait-Bailey and Elorm MacAuley.

DZALA BUTIQ is supported by REDD Kat Pictures & Twists & Locs.
