BarCamp Tema 2016

BarCamp Tema 2016 is a free networking forum bringing people together for a day of learning, sharing, networking and mentoring. It happens on July 2nd at the Rotary Centre in Tema. The theme is Enhancing productivity through Professionalism.

This Barcamp is the 58th Barcamp in Ghana and it’s organized by the GhanaThink Foundation as it builds a network of young change makers, doers and entrepreneurs in Ghana. It is being organized in conjunction with the Rotaract Club of Tema. This year, we take a more realistic look at the ways we can be productive as professionals. This Barcamp will focus on sharing and education on many tips and ways of being productive through professionalism.

As usual, the Barcamp will feature multiple user-generated breakout sessions about topics relevant to the Greater Accra Region, Tema and beyond. There will be a speed mentoring session where mentors will give insights and answers to questions from attendees. As usual, mentors from diverse industries will be there to share insights on the theme. Some confirm mentors are Chris Agbesi (Training & Development Consultant at Airtel Ghana and Founding Director of Oakleaf Training & Consultant), Pastor Akwetey (Pastor,Entrepreneur & Motivational Speaker), Victor Tekpetey (Entrepreneur,Teacher & MC), Mrs Deborah Attipoe (HRM), Francesca Anane (Club Rotarian President), David Alma-Mensah (Airtel Ghana (Network Service Manager), Mrs Edem (Aviation Manager).
