Ghana’s epic musical theatre Wogbɛ Jɛkɛ: The Birth Of A Nation returns with a blast!
Come watch an engaging performance on Ghana’s pre-colonial history featuring the stories of Kings, Queens and Legends- a celebration of the nation’s rich culture and heritage. Peep a review of a previous run here.
The musical kicks off on Thursday 31st March, through to Saturday 2nd April at the Amphitheatre of the University of Ghana, behind Commonwealth Hall. Tickets are available at Airport Shell and at the venue. Call 0246 197 841 for reservations.
It costs GHS30 for the public and GHS15ghc for students.
Note that, the story continues on the 22nd & 23rd of July at the National Theatre with a riveting drama on Ghana’s independence struggle- WogbɛJɛkɛ: The Tale of Two Men.
