Gbagbasete Procession

The Gbagbasete procession is not just a celebration; it is a defiant assertion of our history and strength in the face of adversity. It stands as a vivid reminder of the vast body of knowledge produced in the past, serving as a prism through which we examine our imagined radical futures and alternative realities. By bringing together invasive species, experimental visual aesthetics, and alternative technologies, the procession invites speculation on what might emerge after the fall of oppressive empires. It opens the door to new possibilities for anthological designs that defy description, generating fresh configurations for marginalised voices, vernacular futurisms, and multispecies intelligence.
