Daily Entry fee is ghs50 for locals, ghs100 for non-Ghanaians, ghs30 for all children 13yrs to 17 years.
Always ask for a receipt. Whenever possible, pay by Momo or PoS, or have the exact amount required to minimise search for change.
Entry fee applies to anyone entering the castle unless given clearance by organisers or castle officials.
Monday 19th August:
• 3pm to 5pm – Silent Procession through the township (all white attire)
• 5 pm to 5.30 pm – Official Opening declaration by Team (within the Castle) + Opening of Shika Shika Art Fair in the Garden
• 5.30 pm to 6 pm – Royal Music performance by Osu Klottey School of African Music
• 6 to 6.30pm – Dagara Music Center performance
• 6.30 to 7 pm – Nyonmo Y3 Jen Cultural Group dance performance
• 7 to 9 pm – Film Screening and Conversations
** Art installations and exhibition open from 5pm all through till late, while other activities ongoing in the premises. Fair stays open from 9 am till late, each day after 19th.
