Wanda Gala collaborated with Julius Yaw Quansah on a powerful performance “Red Earth” at the Chale Wote Street Art Festival 22.
“Red Earth” is a dialogue about sovereignty as an embodied state; the reverabtion in flesh, relation, blood, breath, metal, earth and atmosphere.
It is shared as a perfomative installation work, activated by dancers Julius Yaw Quansah and Wanda Gala who investigate the intersections of bodies land and contemporary politics through sound, movement and sculpture.
