- Here is some helpful advice for you to help make your time with us comfortable and amazing:
A. Wear sneakers and socks or very comfortable walking shoes if you plan to really have fun!
B. Have a small backpack to keep water, fluids, and snacks in because you will likely need lots of hydration. Especially if you are with young ones or older folks.
C. Carry some wet wipes, some face towels, handkerchiefs, etc. Even some small battery-operated fans if you need one (hello, ladies!)
D. Sun looks like it’s also gearing up to enjoy the weekend! So carry some sunglasses with you if you have some. And a cap/hat in case you need to protect your head and eyes from the sun (or rain!)
E. Have a raincoat or umbrella (small one that fits in your bag)in case it rains … August weather in Ghana can sometimes give really British surprises.
F. There will be a few state security personnel around to maintain order and help keep everyone secure since enjoyment and fun can sometimes spill over in ways we cannot manage on our own. When you see them, smile and ask them how they are doing? They won’t bite. 😃
G. Look out for our information desks near the entrance to Independence Square, another near the Electricity House, and one near the NDK Financials Building – for if you need guidance or clarity or help or merchandise.
H. If you need Special Assistance for Differently-Abled purposes eg wheelchair mobility, hearing impairment, and physical restrictions, kindly WhatsApp Golda Addo on 0501909082 with your concerns and needs.
I. Come ready to spend. Because there will be lots to eat, drink, watch on stage, buy, and collect. To support our efforts, don’t forget to grab some of our merchandise (t-shirts and fabric tote bags).
Chale! Woteeeee!!!
